Try using Item > Transform.
Let's imagine you want to rotate your image +45°.
Pull up the Transform dialog.
From the Add list, choose Rotation.
Set the Rotation angle to -45°
Set the rotation point where you wish.
Set to one copy, click Ok. (If you set Copies to 0, then it will rotate
the original)
What you get is a rotation of your frame, but not the image.
Now, go to X,Y,Z in Properties, and rotate the frame -45°, to 315°. Now
you have an unrotated frame with a rotated image.
Something you will see if your image exactly fit the frame originally is
that it will be clipped. To correct this, adjust image scaling and X-Pox
and Y-Pos in the Image tab of Properties.
