it's hard to say without knowing more about it.

i don't think it's a vista problem, but it's really hard to say. (if it was, you would not be the first with that problem).

personally, i don't see many chances to solve this without at least a questions and answers sessions (like: getting the file you are trying to open, seeing a screenshot of what you see when you do file > open, where are the files you are trying to open).


i guess you should find somebody who is able to debug it on your computer... or show up in our irc channel.
